- Be a full-time lecturer at the institution according to current regulations;
- Meet the lecturer standards prescribed in current documents;
- Successfully complete all assigned tasks;
- Not subject to any legal or disciplinary actions for violations within 2 consecutive years prior to the competition;
- Fulfill the requirements for registration documents for the Competition as stated in Clause 2, Article 12 of the Regulations attached to Decision 2777/QD-BGDDT of 2022.

What are the duties and powers of the Organizing Committee of the National-level Competition for Selection of Lecturers with Excellent Pedagogical Skills in Vietnam?
According to Clause 2, Article 8 of the Regulations on the National-level Competition for Selection of Lecturers with Excellent Pedagogical Skills attached to Decision 2777/QD-BGDDT of 2022, the duties and powers of the Organizing Committee are:
- Organizing and managing all activities of the competition as per these regulations; using the seal of the authorized organizing unit for competition-related tasks; establishing assistance committees for the competition;
- Developing the competition plan and distributing it to relevant units and individuals; devising the program of activities, establishing examination rules, and setting the examination schedule; preparing other related documents for the competition;
- Preparing venues, equipment, facilities, funding, and other conditions to ensure the activities of the competition; promoting and advocating to attract organizations and individuals to support the competition; mobilizing financial resources and other resources for the competition according to legal provisions;
- Preparing and conducting the organization of testing, evaluating the examination contents, and other activities to achieve the competition's objectives as per these regulations;
- Organizing commendations for organizations and individuals participating in the competition in accordance with current legal regulations; proposing to competent authorities to issue certificates of lecturers with excellent pedagogical skills;
- Addressing complaints about the grading and ranking from participating units and individuals; handling or recommending to authorities the handling of organizations or individuals violating these regulations;
- Summarizing, evaluating, and announcing the competition results; implementing reporting policies to competent authorities on issues related to the competition;
- Performing other duties and exercising powers related to organizing the competition as per legal regulations.
What is the composition of the Secretariat of the National-level Competition for Selection of Lecturers with Excellent Pedagogical Skills in Vietnam?
Under Clause 1, Article 11 of the Regulations for the National-level Competition for Selection of Lecturers with Excellent Pedagogical Skills attached to Decision 2777/QD-BGDDT of 2022, the secretariat is composed of:
Secretariat of the Competition
1. The composition of the Secretariat (hereinafter referred to as the Secretariat) consists of: a Head and members (excluding secretaries of the July Sub-Board), the number of members in the Secretariat is at least 03 people and is determined by the Head of the Organizing Committee.
a) Head of the Secretariat: A member of the Organizing Committee holding dual roles;
b) Members: Includes individuals with good ethics, professional qualifications, experience, and capabilities to perform the duties and powers of Secretariat members as specified in Clause 4 of this Article.
2. Duties and Powers of the Secretariat:
a) Acting as the permanent body assisting the Organizing Committee in receiving and responding to competition-related information; ensuring communication between members of the Organizing Committee, subcommittee heads, and related organizations and individuals;
b) Introducing and recommending qualified individuals to join assisting subcommittees; proposing to the Head of the Organizing Committee the decision to form assisting teams;
c) Assisting the Organizing Committee in preparing and sending the competition plan notice to relevant parties; preparing content for Organizing Committee meetings; preparing documents and reports to support the competition;
d) Receiving and safeguarding competition dossiers from participating units and individuals, and storing documents serving the competition; managing, distributing, and handing over competition documents to agencies, units, and individuals involved in organizing and evaluating the examination contents;
