When the Ming invaders occupied our country, Nguyen Trai aided King Le Loi in expelling the invaders. He devised many brilliant strategies, helping our army achieve great victories. After the country gained independence, Nguyen Trai wrote "Bình Ngô đại cáo", a good essay to declare to everyone that our country had won and regained freedom.

Although he was very talented and patriotic, his life faced many difficulties. He was once wrongfully persecuted, but later on, everyone acknowledged and honored him as a hero of the nation.

Nguyen Trai was not only skilled in military affairs but also a great poet. His poems are very beautiful and rich in meaning. I always admired his talent and patriotism.

Sample 2: The Story of Prime Minister Pham Van Dong

There is a Prime Minister whom I greatly admire, and that is Mr. Pham Van Dong. He was one of the outstanding leaders of Vietnam.

Mr. Pham Van Dong was born in Quang Ngai province. From a young age, he was very patriotic and wished to contribute his strength to help the people and the country. As he grew up, he joined the revolution and became an excellent leader.

During his term as Prime Minister, Mr. Pham Van Dong always cared for the lives of the people. He helped the country overcome many difficulties and build peace and stability. Despite his busy schedule, he lived simply and humbly and was loved by everyone.

I greatly admire Mr. Pham Van Dong for his sense of responsibility and love for the people. His story teaches me to love my homeland and strive to excel in my studies to achieve good things for the country in the future.

Sample 3: The Story of Tran Quoc Toan

In Vietnamese history, Tran Quoc Toan is a figure I greatly admire. He was a brave and patriotic young man who left a bright Sample for younger generations.

When the Yuan invaders occupied our land, King Tran Nhan Tong organized the Binh Than conference to discuss strategies against the invaders. Tran Quoc Toan, who was then only 16 years old, wanted to attend the conference to help protect the country. However, due to his young age, he was not allowed to participate. This made Tran Quoc Toan so angry that he crushed an orange in his hand without realizing it.

Subsequently, Tran Quoc Toan organized his own army to fight against the invaders. His army carried a flag embroidered with six golden words: "Phá cường địch, báo hoàng ân" (Destroy the strong enemy, repay the royal favor). Tran Quoc Toan and his small army fought valiantly, achieving many victories and frightening the Yuan invaders.

Despite his youth, Tran Quoc Toan sacrificed himself in a battle at the age of only 18. His patriotism and courage are eternally remembered.

Sample 4: The Story of Sister Vo Thi Sau

When reading about Vietnamese history, I am very impressed by the story of Sister Vo Thi Sau—a young heroine of the nation. She was born in Ba Ria-Vung Tau. From a young age, she was very brave and loved her homeland. At just 14 years old, she joined the revolution, assisted soldiers, and fought against the French invaders.

Once, she was captured while on a mission. Despite being interrogated by the enemy, she never divulged any information, always maintaining a steadfast spirit. At 19, she sacrificed herself at Con Dao prison. Before her death, she remained brave, singing patriotic songs without fear.

I deeply admire Sister Vo Thi Sau for her patriotism and great sacrifice. Her story serves as a bright Sample for me to learn and follow.

Sample 5: The Story of Hero Phan Dinh Giot

Hero Phan Dinh Giot is a shining Sample of courage and the spirit of sacrifice for the Fatherland.

Mr. Phan Dinh Giot was born into a poor family in Ha Tinh. When participating in the war against the French colonialists, he always fought valiantly. During the Dien Bien Phu campaign, he was tasked with defending a crucial point to help the army advance and eliminate the enemy.

When the battle turned fierce and the enemy heavily bombarded our gun bunkers, despite being seriously injured, Mr. Phan Dinh Giot struggled to crawl to block the loophole, allowing comrades to advance and win. His sacrifice contributed significantly to the historic Dien Bien Phu victory.

I deeply admire Mr. Phan Dinh Giot for his patriotism and selfless sacrifice. His story teaches me to appreciate peace and live responsibly with my homeland.

Article 72 of the Education Law 2019 stipulates as follows:

Standardized educational qualifications of teachers

1. Standardized educational qualifications of teachers are regulated as follows:

a) Teachers of preschool education teachers must possess at least a pedagogical college diploma;

b) Teachers of primary education, lower secondary education and upper secondary education must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in pedagogy training.

In case a subject is yet to acquire enough teachers with bachelor’s degree in pedagogy training, teachers of this subject must possess a bachelor's degree of suitable specialization and a certificate of pedagogy training;

c) Lecturers of higher education must possess a master’s degree; lecturers teaching or instructing master or doctor’s theses must possess a doctoral degree.

d) Standardized educational qualifications of teachers working in institutions of vocational education shall follow regulations in the Law on Vocational education.

Thus, 4th-grade Vietnamese Language teachers must have a bachelor's degree in pedagogy training or higher.

In case a subject is yet to acquire enough teachers with bachelor’s degree in pedagogy training, teachers of this subject must possess a bachelor's degree of suitable specialization and a certificate of pedagogy training.

What is the roadmap to improve the standardized educational qualifications of primary school teachers in Vietnam?

Article 5 of Decree 71/2020/ND-CP stipulates as follows:

Roadmap to improve the standardized educational qualifications of primary school teachers

1. The roadmap covers from July 1, 2020, to December 31, 2030.

2. The roadmap is implemented in two phases:

a) Phase 1: From July 1, 2020, to December 31, 2025, ensuring that at least 50% of primary school teachers are being trained or have completed training programs to obtain a bachelor's degree;

b) Phase 2: From January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2030, for the remaining teachers to ensure that 100% complete their training programs to obtain a bachelor's degree.

Thus, by December 31, 2025, at least 50% of primary school teachers should be in training or have completed training programs to obtain a bachelor's degree.
