4. Responsibilities of upper secondary schools and vocational education and training institutions:
a) Organize for students and their families to sign a commitment to comply with legal regulations on road traffic order and safety, including the following contents: students must not operate motorcycles when they do not meet the conditions as regulated, must not operate mopeds before completing the program on safe moped driving skills; families should not allow students to operate vehicles when they do not meet the conditions as prescribed by law;
b) Coordinate with the parent representative board to regularly remind students to adhere to the signed commitment and to frequently communicate and obtain information from students' families regarding their compliance with road traffic law while participating in traffic;
c) Incorporate compliance with legal regulations on road traffic order and safety as one of the criteria for assessing and categorizing students' training results.
5. Responsibility of the student's family:
a) Cooperate with relevant agencies to educate law knowledge about road traffic order and safety, guide safe moped driving skills for students;
b) Do not allow their children to operate vehicles when not meeting the conditions regulated;
c) Regularly remind their children to fulfill signed commitments and frequently communicate and gather information with the school about students' compliance with road traffic laws when participating in traffic.
Thus, under the new regulation effective January 1, 2025, upper secondary schools and vocational education and training institutions are responsible for incorporating compliance with road traffic laws as a criterion for assessing the training results of students.
