A. Code of Conduct

The Code of Conduct in schools issued by the Ministry of Education and Training includes rules for kindergarten, primary, secondary, and high school levels. This code is implemented according to Circular No. 06/2019/TT-BGDDT on the code of conduct in preschool and general educational institutions, applicable to administrators, teachers, staff, students, and parents.

Chapter I: General Provisions

Article 1: Subjects and Scope of Application

The Code of Conduct is applied to the staff, teachers, employees, and students of Tran Phu Secondary School. This code is based on the Workplace Culture Regulation (Decision No. 129/2007/QD-TTg dated August 2, 2007), the Teacher Ethics Regulation (Decision No. 16/2008/QD-BGDDT dated April 16, 2008), and the School Regulations (Circular No. 12/2011/TT-BGDDT dated March 28, 2011).

Article 2: Prohibited Conduct

Teachers: Do not insult the dignity or honor, infringe on the body of students, cheat, distort educational content, force students to take extra classes for money, use stimulants or skip teaching hours.

Students: Do not insult teachers, cheat in exams, cause disruptions, use harmful products, or violate traffic laws such as riding motorcycles when underage.

Chapter II: Specific Provisions

Article 3: Students' Conduct Relationships

With oneself: Cultivate moral qualities, comply with the law, protect the environment, and maintain school facilities.

With friends: Respect and help each other, avoid discrimination or causing conflicts.

With teachers: Show respect, politeness, and refrain from offensive words or actions.

With the living environment: Maintain cleanliness, save resources, and protect local cultural and traditional works.

B. Plan to Build a Safe Classroom and Prevent School Violence for the Academic Year 2023 – 2024

1. Class Situation Characteristics:

Total number of students: 38 (23 males, 15 females).

Advantages: Parental attention, adequate facilities.

Challenges: Some students are not well aware of their studies, little parental involvement.

2. Objectives:

Build a safe, friendly learning environment free from violence.

Train behavioral skills, enhance learning consciousness, and develop life skills.

3. Implementation Measures:

Develop classroom rules and anti-violence regulations.

Integrate anti-violence activities into the curriculum.

Strengthen coordination between the school, parents, and social organizations.

4. Specific Plan:

August-September: Guide the development of classroom rules.

October: Organize a drama competition on anti-violence.

November: "Golden Bell" competition with the theme against school violence.

Under Article 3 of the regulations on working policies for general education teachers issued with Circular 28/2009/TT-BGDDT as amended by Clause 2 Article 1 Circular 15/2017/TT-BGDDT:

Duties of Teachers

The duties of teachers shall follow the charter of primary, lower secondary schools, upper secondary schools, and multi-level schools; the organizational and operational regulations of boarding ethnic secondary schools, semi-boarding ethnic secondary school, specialized schools, and pre-university schools.

Under Article 27 of the lower secondary school, upper secondary school and multi-level school charter issued with Circular 32/2020/TT-BGDDT, the duties of lower secondary school teachers are stipulated as follows:

Article 27. Duties of teachers

1. Organize teaching and educational activities according to education plans of the school and specialized teams; manage students in educational activities organized by the school; participate in professional activities; and take responsibility for educational quality and effectiveness.

2. Foster moral values, uphold spirit of responsibility, preserve virtues, honor and reputation of the teacher; display exemplary behaviors in front of students; love and treat students with fairness, and respect students' personalities; protect student's legitimate rights and interest; and cooperate with and support fellow teachers.

3. Learn and train continuously to improve their health, political qualifications, and professional qualifications and knowledge, reform teaching and educational methods.

4. Participate in refresher and training courses.

5. Take part in local universalization of lower secondary education.

6. Fulfill civic duties, comply with regulations of law and the education sector, and the principal’s decisions; perform tasks assigned by the principal and be subject to inspection and assessment by the principal and education authorities.

7. Cooperate with the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Vietnam Youth Federation, students’ families and relevant social organizations in educational activities.

8. Perform other duties as prescribed by law.

Thus, the duties of a lower secondary school teacher include:
