What are regulations on organiztion of registration and additional admissions of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade?

Based on Article 22 of the Regulation on university admissions and college admissions for early childhood education issued with Circular 08/2022/TT-BGDDT, the registration and additional admission is organized as follows:

- Based on the admission quota and the number of candidates who have confirmed their enrollment into the programs, the admissions council of the training institution will consider and decide on the additional admissions.

- The training institution announces the additional admission plan, admission methods, and registration methods for additional admissions; the admission conditions for each program according to each admission method must not be lower than the previous admission conditions.

- Candidates who have not been admitted or have been admitted but have not confirmed enrollment anywhere can register for additional admissions according to the plan and instructions of the training institution.

- After each admission period, the training institution announces on its website the admission scores (and additional conditions, criteria if any) for each program according to the admission methods; organizes for candidates to look up their admission results; sends admission notices and instructions for admitted candidates to enroll.

The regulations above also apply to Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade's organization of registration and additional admissions (if any).

By which means will candidates in Vietnam receive their admission notices for Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade in 2024?

According to Article 21 of the Regulation on university admissions and college admissions for early childhood education issued with Circular 08/2022/TT-BGDDT, the announcement of results and enrollment confirmation are as follows:

1. The training institution sends admission notices to admitted candidates, specifying the necessary procedures for candidates upon enrollment and the method of enrollment.

2. Candidates confirm their enrollment online on the system before enrolling at the training institution.

3. For candidates who do not confirm their enrollment within the prescribed time frame:

a) If there is no legitimate reason, it is considered that the candidate has refused to enroll, and the training institution has the right not to accept them;

b) If due to illness, accident, with a confirmation from a district hospital or higher, or due to natural disasters with a confirmation from the district People's Committee or higher, the training institution will consider admitting the candidate or reserve the admission results for the candidate to enroll later;

c) If due to errors or mistakes made by the admissions officer or the candidate, the training institution will actively cooperate with related individuals or organizations to review the evidence and decide on admitting the candidate or reserve the admission results for the candidate to enroll later.

4. Candidates who have confirmed their enrollment at one institution are not allowed to participate in admissions at other institutions or additional admissions, unless permitted by the training institution.

Thus, the admission notices for Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade in 2024 will be sent to admitted candidates at their addresses.
