* The university will organize talent competitions for four majors: Fashion Design; Graphic Design; Architecture; and Interior Design. Applications for the talent tests are accepted from April 01 to May 30, 2025, at http://xettuyen.hcmute.edu.vn
To increase the chances of admission, candidates are encouraged to apply via multiple methods and aspirations (aspirations are evaluated by priority order; aspiration 1 is the highest priority).

Who is eligible to take the high school graduation exam 2025 in Vietnam?
Under Section 2, Plan for Organizing the exam and High school graduation assessment from 2025 issued together with Decision 4068/QD-BGDDT 2023:
1. Purpose of organizing the exam:
Proper assessment of learners' study results according to the goals and standards required by the 2018 General Education Program; use the exam results for high school graduation assessment and as one of the bases for evaluating the teaching and learning quality of general education institutions and the direction work of educational management agencies; provide data reliable enough for higher education institutions, vocational education to use in enrollment following the spirit of autonomy.
2. Eligible candidates:
Learners who have completed the upper secondary program, general education program at the upper secondary level in the exam year or have completed these programs but have not yet taken the high school graduation exam or have taken but not graduated and wish to take the exam for high school graduation assessment. Learners who have already obtained an upper secondary diploma or a post-secondary diploma and wish to take the exam to use the results as a basis for undergraduate and vocational education enrollment.
Thus, candidates eligible to take the high school graduation exam 2025 include:
- Learners who have completed the upper secondary program or general education program at the upper secondary level in the exam year or have completed these programs but have not yet taken the high school graduation exam or have taken but not graduated and wish to take the exam for high school graduation assessment.
- Learners who have already obtained an upper secondary diploma or a post-secondary diploma and wish to take the exam to use the results as a basis for undergraduate and vocational education enrollment.

According to Article 4 of the Regulations on enrollment for undergraduate and college programs in Early Childhood Education issued together with Circular 08/2022/TT-BGDDT, the principle of fairness to candidates in enrollment for undergraduate and college programs in Vietnam is specified as follows:
- Regarding information provision: Each interested candidate is provided with complete, clear, reliable, consistent, and prompt information to make suitable decisions and best prepare for participation in enrollment;
- Regarding opportunities for application: No candidate loses the opportunity to apply due to regulations unrelated to qualification or ability (except for regulations of the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of National Defense which have specific traits in defense and security fields); or due to troublesome, costly admission procedures;
- Regarding capacity assessment: Candidates must be objectively, fairly, and reliably assessed on learning ability and potential for success, meeting the program and training sector requirements;
- Regarding opportunities for admission: Candidates must be provided with the highest opportunities for admission and the right to determine priority aspirations among qualified programs and training fields for admission;
- Regarding commitment implementation: The training institution must fulfill its commitments to candidates; provide advice, and support, and resolve complaints, protecting candidates' legitimate rights in risk situations.
