How many enrollment methods can an undergraduate program in Vietnam apply?

According to Article 6 of the enrollment for undergraduate and college programs in the Early Childhood Education issued with Circular 08/2022/TT-BGDDT:

Enrollment methods

1. Training institutions decide on one or multiple enrollment methods (entrance exam, admission, or a combination of entrance exam and admission), applied either generally for the entire institution or specifically for some programs, disciplines, fields, and training forms. A program or training program and discipline may simultaneously use multiple enrollment methods.

2. Each enrollment method must clearly define assessment criteria, selection criteria, and methods of combining criteria to classify, rank, and determine matriculation conditions for candidates according to the requirements of the training program and discipline. Assessment and selection criteria must be based on the foundational knowledge and core competencies that the candidate needs to pursue the training program and discipline.

3. For the enrollment method based on academic results, exam results by subject (including overall scores of subjects at teh upper secondary level, scores of graduation subjects, and other assessment results):

Students at public universities are exempt from tuition if they belong to one of the following categories:

- Be individuals under 22 years old and currently studying for their first bachelor's degree who are eligible for monthly social allowances;
