Sample 1: Saint Giong

In the fairy tale “Saint Giong,” I greatly admire the character of Saint Giong. Saint Giong is a strange boy, three years old and yet unable to speak or smile, but upon hearing about the An invaders, he suddenly grows rapidly into a strong young man. The image of Saint Giong riding an iron horse, wielding an iron rod to defeat the enemy, is truly majestic and powerful. I feel admiration for Yet Kieu because of his patriotism, courage, and resilient spirit. The story teaches me a lesson about courage and the importance of harnessing one's strengths to do good deeds.

Sample 4: The Wife in The Fisherman and the Golden Fish

I do not like the character of the wife in the story “The Fisherman and the Golden Fish.” She is a greedy and selfish person. When the old man caught the talking golden fish, she did not appreciate what she had but continuously demanded greater and greater things, from a new pig trough to the power of a queen. Her greed ultimately led her to lose everything and return to a life of poverty as before. The story makes me feel pity for the kind old man and teaches me that one should live modestly, be grateful, and avoid excessive greed.

Sample 5: Tam

I really love the character Tam in the fairy tale “Tam Cam.” Tam is a gentle, hardworking girl with a kind heart. Despite being treated harshly by Cam's mother and forced to toil, Tam always remains patient and maintains her pure heart. Due to her honesty and kindness, Tam eventually receives deserved happiness. He knows how to herd cows, plays the flute beautifully, and even achieves top honors as a great official through his efforts. I am highly impressed by Coconut Skull's spirit of overcoming hardships and his extraordinary resolve. The story teaches me not to judge others by their appearance but to appreciate their inner talents and qualities.

I am quite moved by the character of The Man in the Moon in the fairy tale “The Man in the Moon.” The Man is intelligent, quick-witted, and courageous. By discovering a precious medicinal plant, he saved many lives. However, due to his wife's carelessness, the plant was uprooted, and he tried to hold onto it but was pulled all the way up to the moon. I feel both sorrow and admiration for The Man in the Moon, as he must live lonely on the moon, eternally longing for home. The story teaches me the importance of treasuring valuable things in life and always being careful in everything.
