What are the 03+ sample argumentative paragraphs on the bad habits of today's Vietnamese youth?

In the context of a constantly changing modern society, the bad habits of today's youth have become a concerning issue. The rapid development of technology, along with temptations from the living environment, has made it easy for many young people to develop unhealthy habits. These habits not only negatively impact physical and mental health but also hinder the overall development of the individual.

To better understand this issue, below are sample argumentative paragraphs on the bad habits of today's Vietnamese youth:

Sample 1

In today's modern society, the bad habits of the youth are becoming a significant concern alongside positive habits. One alarming habit is the excessive use of social media. Instead of leveraging technology for learning and personal development, many young people spend most of their time on platforms like TikTok, Facebook, or Instagram without a clear purpose. This leads to a lack of concentration in studying, getting caught up in "virtual living," and comparing themselves to others, causing feelings of inferiority or depression. Moreover, other unhealthy habits like staying up late, erratic eating habits, or lack of exercise also negatively affect physical and mental health. The main reasons for this situation stem from the lack of guidance from families and schools and the individuals' insufficient awareness. To overcome these issues, each person needs to be self-aware, know how to manage their time effectively, and build a healthy lifestyle. Only by recognizing the consequences and actively changing can the youth develop comprehensively and aim for a positive future.

Sample 2

The bad habits of today's youth have become a social concern, directly impacting the development of an entire generation. A prevalent habit is living without discipline and clear goals. Many young people spend too much time on unhealthy entertainment activities like gaming or browsing social media, neglecting to cultivate life skills or personal development. They are easily drawn to temporary comfort, lacking perseverance to pursue long-term goals. Additionally, the habit of procrastination and the fear of failure make them slow in making decisions and taking actions. This not only reduces learning efficiency but also affects their adaptability to real-world environments later on. The causes of these habits may stem from a lack of orientation, insufficient family attention, and an environment overly reliant on technology. To remedy this, each youth should build self-awareness, set specific goals, and persist in executing them. Moreover, guidance and correct orientation from family and schools will be important factors in helping the youth escape these bad habits and develop more comprehensively in life.

Sample 3

One of the common bad habits among today's youth is vaping, a behavior that seems harmless but poses alarming risks. Many young people view vaping as a way to express personality, style, or simply as a recreational habit. However, e-cigarettes not only contain addictive nicotine but also harmful chemicals that seriously affect health, especially the respiratory and cardiovascular systems. Additionally, this habit negatively affects personal awareness and image, leading to other unhealthy behaviors. The causes of this phenomenon often come from curiosity, peer pressure, and a lack of knowledge about the harmful effects of e-cigarettes. Unfortunately, the measures to control and educate about this issue are not strong enough. To change this, there must be close cooperation between family, schools, and society in orienting healthy lifestyles, while young people need to equip themselves with awareness to protect their health and form positive habits.
