When is the beginning-of-year quality assessment exam for grade 12 Math in Vietnam?

Since then, at the beginning of each new school year, some schools organize quality assessment exams as a basis for devising and implementing plans to enhance educational quality tailored to the student’s needs throughout the school year.
What are the objectives of grade 12 Math in Vietnam?
Based on subsection 3, Section III of the General Education Program for Math, issued along with Circular 32/2018/TT-BGDDT, the assessment of grade 12 Math will comply with the following methods:
High school Math aims to help students achieve the following main objectives:
- Contribute to the formation and development of mathematical competence with the required achievements:
+ State and answer questions when reasoning, problem-solving; use reasoning methods, induction, and deduction to understand different ways of problem-solving; establish mathematical models to describe situations, thereby proposing solutions to mathematical problems posed in the established model;
+ Implement and present problem-solving solutions and evaluate the solutions that have been implemented, reflect the value of the solution, and generalize for similar problems;
+ Use tools and means of learning mathematics in studying, exploring, and solving mathematical problems.
- Have basic and essential knowledge and skills in:
+ Algebra and some elements of analysis: Calculation and use of calculation tools; use algebraic language and symbols; transform algebraic and transcendental expressions (trigonometric, exponential, logarithmic), equations, systems of equations, inequalities; recognize basic elementary functions (power, trigonometric, exponential, logarithmic); study functions and draw graphs of functions using the derivative tool; use function language, function graphs to describe and analyze some processes and phenomena in the real world; use integration to calculate the area of a plane figure and the volume of a solid in space.
+ Geometry and Measurement: Provide knowledge and skills (at the logical reasoning level) about geometric relationships and familiar flat and solid shapes; algebraic methods (vectors, coordinates) in geometry; develop spatial imagination; solve some simple practical problems associated with Geometry and Measurement.
+ Statistics and Probability: Improve the ability to collect, classify, represent, analyze, and process statistical data; use tools to analyze statistical data through characteristic numbers measuring central tendency and dispersion levels for ungrouped and grouped data samples; use statistical laws in practice; recognize random models, basic probability concepts, and the significance of probability in practice.
- Contribute to helping students have relatively general knowledge about careers related to Mathematics and its value; create a basis for career orientation after high school; have sufficient minimum competence to explore mathematical-related problems throughout their lives.
