The admission score this year has increased by more than 3 points compared to last year, from 21.2 points (in 2023) to 24.45 points. The school only organizes admissions for male candidates in the northern region, considering the combination of A00 and A01 groups.

Candidates eligible for the Command Staff major must register their first preference at Tran Quoc Tuan University (Infantry Officer College No.1, school code LAH, major code 7860201) to be officially recognized for admission.

What are regulations on notification and enrollment of candidates admitted to Infantry Officer College No.1 in Vietnam?

Based on Article 21 of the University Admission and College Admission in Preschool Education Regulations, issued with Circular 08/2022/TT-BGDDT:

- The training institution sends an admission notice to the admitted candidates, specifying the necessary procedures for candidates when enrolling and the method of enrollment.

- Candidates confirm their enrollment online on the system before enrolling at the training institution.

- For candidates who do not confirm enrollment within the specified time:

+ Without a legitimate reason, they are considered to have declined the enrollment, and the training institution has the right not to accept them;

+ Due to illness or accident, with a certification from a district-level hospital or higher, or due to a natural disaster with certification from the District People's Committee or higher, the training institution will consider accepting the candidate for enrollment or deferring the admission result for the candidate to enroll later;

+ Due to mistakes or confusion caused by the admissions officer or the candidate, the training institution will actively cooperate with relevant individuals and organizations to review the evidence and decide on accepting the candidate for enrollment or deferring the admission result for the candidate to enroll later.

- Candidates who have confirmed enrollment at one training institution are not allowed to participate in admissions at another place or in additional admission rounds, except when permitted by the training institution.

What are the responsibilities of the relevant parties in Vietnam in the 2024 university admissions process?

Based on Article 23 of the University Admission and College Admission in Preschool Education Regulations, issued with Circular 08/2022/TT-BGDDT:

* Responsibilities of high schools and other assigned units for candidates under their management

- Organize the review, check, and update candidate's personal information and high school academic data on the industry data system;

- Check data, guide candidates to input correct information, including regional and priority information;

- Support candidates who do not have the conditions to register online;

- Assist training institutions that have separate admissions plans in confirming the high school academic results for candidates.

* Responsibilities of the training institution

- Provide complete and correctly formatted and authenticated information and data to the system according to the Ministry of Education and Training's guidelines;

- Regulate (or agree with other training institutions) the fees, payment methods, and use of admission service fees;

- Provide complete information, counsel and guide candidates properly to prevent candidates from applying to a major, training program, or enrollment method for which they do not qualify;

- Ensure a precise, fair, and objective admissions process; fulfill commitments according to the published admissions plan;

- Verify information and documentation when candidates enroll, ensuring all enrolled students meet the admission criteria;

- Handle complaints and denunciations related to the training institution's admissions process according to legal regulations.

* Responsibilities of the unit assigned to manage and operate the system

- Manage the national admission database, synchronize with the industry database;

- Build, maintain, and operate the Admissions Portal to support candidates and training institutions in the admissions process;

- Connect the Ministry of Education and Training's Admissions Portal with the national public service portal.

Additionally, candidates also have responsibilities in the 2024 university admissions process as follows:

- Thoroughly research the admissions information of the training institutions, not to register for admission into majors, training programs, or enrollment methods for which they do not qualify;

- Provide complete and accurate information on all registration details, including personal information, regional and priority information (if any), and application preferences; ensure the authenticity of documentation;

- Agree for the training institution to access necessary information and data for the admissions process;

- Complete payment of admission fees before concluding the application process.
