Decision No. 486/QD-TTg dated May 10, 2023 on preferential lending interest rates at the Bank For Social Policies applicable to loans with outstanding balance for purchase or lease-purchase of social housing, new construction or renovation and repair of residential houses

DECISION

ON PREFERENTIAL LENDING INTEREST RATES AT THE BANK FOR SOCIAL POLICIES APPLICABLE TO LOANS WITH OUTSTANDING BALANCE FOR PURCHASE OR LEASE-PURCHASE OF SOCIAL HOUSING, NEW CONSTRUCTION OR RENOVATION AND REPAIR OF RESIDENTIAL HOUSES

THE PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Law on Government Organization dated June 19, 2015; the Law on amendments to the Law on Government Organization and the Law on Organization of Local Government dated November 22, 2019;

Pursuant to the Law on Housing dated November 25, 2014;

Pursuant to Decree No. 78/2002/ND-CP dated October 4, 2002 of the Government on credit for the poor and other beneficiaries of incentive policies;

Pursuant to Decree No. 100/2015/ND-CP dated October 20, 2015 of the Government on development and management of social housing;

Pursuant to Decree No. 49/2021/ND-CP dated April 1, 2021 of the Government on amendments to Decree No. 100/2015/ND-CP dated October 20, 2015 of the Government on social housing development and management;

At the request of the Board of Directors of the Bank for Social Policies in Report No. 66/TTr-HĐQT dated December 15, 2022, Dispatch No. 19/NHCS-HDQT dated March 8, 2023 and the unanimous opinion of the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Ministry of Justice and the Bank for Social Policies at the meeting on May 4, 2023.

HEREBY DECIDES:

Article 1. The preferential lending interest rate at the Bank for Social Policies applies to loans with outstanding balances for purchase, lease-purchase of social housing, new construction or renovation and repair of residential houses in accordance with regulations of Decree No. 100/2015/ND-CP dated October 20, 2015 of the Government on development and management of social housing, Clause 10, Article 1 of Decree No. 49/2021/ND-CP April 1, 2021 of the Government on amendments to Decree No. 100/2015/ND-CP is 4.8% per year.

The Bank for Social Policies takes full responsibility for the contents and data of reports and proposals.

Article 2. This Decision enters into force as of December 31, 2024.

Article 3. Ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, heads of Governmental agencies; the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, the President of the Board of Directors, the General Director of the Bank for Social Policies and the heads of the relevant agencies shall implement this Decision.
