Isolated components are understood as components that are part of a certain sentence structure, but they do not participate in expressing the meaning of sentences. On the other hand, isolated establishments are completely separated to express a separate idea but are not superfluous. In the Vietnamese language, most of us very often use sentences with isolated components.
For example, at the following folk song verse:
" Bầu ơi thương lấy bí cùng
Tuy rằng khác giống nhưng chung một giàn."
- > Isolated component - Call-answer component: “Bầu ơi”
In the General Education Program issued together with Decision 16/2006/QD-BGDĐT, students must:
- Understand the characteristics and effects of maintaining communication relations in the conversation of the initiation and isolated components (call-answer component, annotation component, emotional component, exclamation component in sentence).
- Master the methods to create sentences with initials and isolated components: call-answer component, annotation component, affectionate component, and exclamation component.

What are the isolated components in Vietnam?
The isolated component is located separately and independently to express the individual ideas of the sentence.
There are isolated components including:
- Sentimental component
- Exclamation component
- Call-answer component
- Annotation component
(1) Sentimental component
The sentimental component is used to express the speaker's view of the facts mentioned in the sentence. This sentimental component is used to evaluate things and things of the speaker, the writer about the content mentioned in the sentence
Example:
Với lòng mong nhớ của anh, chắc anh nghĩ rằng, con anh sẽ chạy xô vào lòng anh, sẽ ôm chặt lấy cổ anh
The word "chắc" is a sentimental component: referring to judgments and thoughts with a high degree of trust.
(2) Exclamation component
The exclamation component is used to express the speaker's psychology (happy, sad, happy, angry, ...). The exclamation component in a sentence can be separated into a separate sentence (special sentence). Although there is a common point that not participating in the expression of the meaning of the sentence should be called an isolated component, it should be relied upon.
Example:
Ôi lòng Bác vậy cứ thương ta
Thương cuộc đời chung thương cỏ hoa.
The word "Ôi" is an exclamation component, not just a thing or phenomenon at all, but it only reveals human emotions.
(3) Call-answer component
The call-answer component is used to create or maintain communication relationships to thereby express the attitude of the speaker, writer to the listener, and reader.
Example:
Thưa mẹ, con mới đi học về.
- > The bold word stated in the example is used to respond.
Words used to call other people and others mentioned in the example do not participate in expressing the meaning of the sentence.
(4) Annotation component
This is the component used to annotate some information to add some details to the main content of the sentence and has the use of adding details to the main content of the sentence stating attitude, and mood, ... accompanied by the character's speech or possibly stating the origin of the speech or text.
Signs to recognize the annotation component:
The identifying sign of this annotation component is expressed through the construction of words, phrases, subject-predicate phrases, the fact that sentences and sentences are usually expressed in the form of placing between 2 dashes (- - ), 2 commas (' ') or 2 quotation marks ( " " ).
Example:
Chúng tôi, mọi người – kể cả anh, đều tưởng con bé sẽ đứng yên đó thôi.
(Nguyen Quang Sang, Chiếc lược ngà)
