- Location map, construction site, project scale and nature data, current status, site boundaries, planning information, existing and approved technical infrastructure routes, existing works, and surrounding landscape architecture, traffic linkage analysis;
- Architectural concept design drawings showing: functional flows, blocks, lines, colors, light on overall drawings, perspectives, floor plans, elevations, sections, interior and exterior relationships with the general landscape architectural space of the area.
(2) Explanation includes:
- Explanation of the contents in item (1) above.
- Orientations for structural solutions, equipment systems, technical infrastructure and operational management, exploitation;
- List of applicable standards and codes;
- Appendix of legal documents related to the legality of the preliminary architectural design dossier.

Specifications of architectural design dossier
1. An architectural design dossier includes drawings and explanations.
2. The architectural design dossier must meet the following requirements:
a) The specifications, scale of drawings according to the National Standard TCVN 5671:2012 on the construction design document system - architectural design dossier;
b) The drawing title block must comply with the National Standard TCVN 5571:2012 on the construction design document system - construction drawing - title block.
3. Individuals responsible for the architectural expertise of the organization, legal representative, or authorized person must sign and seal the contractor's design according to regulations.
4. The chief designer named in the design dossier must ensure:
a) Directly organize the implementation of the design tasks, have expertise, and bear the highest responsibility for the content and quality of the architectural design, control the disciplines to coordinate and unify with the architecture;
b) The chief designer can be the author of the architectural plan or the person directly organizing the author's ideas.
5. The principal architectural designer named in the design dossier must ensure:
a) Must have sufficient capacity to be assigned to lead the architectural design of the work or lead the architectural design appraisal, responsible for the content of the architectural design;
b) The principal can replace the role of the chief designer if authorized by the chief designer.

- Basic architectural design dossier is the architectural content in the basic design at the stage of the feasibility study report;
- Technical architectural design is the architectural content in the technical design at the stage after the basic design;
- Construction drawing architectural design is the architectural content in the construction drawing design at the stage after the basic design;
- Other architectural design dossiers at different design stages (if any) according to international practice, corresponding to the construction design steps decided by the investment decision-maker when deciding to invest in the project.
