What does the application for promotion to the main lecturer career title in Vietnam include?
Pursuant to Section 5.1 subsection 5 Section III of Official Dispatch 112/BGDDT-NGCBQLGD in 2023, the application for promotion to CDNN main lecturer is as follows:
- Application for promotion to CDNN Main Lecturer/Main College Lecturer
- A resume of the officer certified by the agency employing or managing the officer (form No. 2 attached).
- A written comment and assessment of the head of the agency employing an officer who does not hold a managerial position or of the head of the agency or organization competent to appoint a management officer
- Copies of diplomas and certificates at the request of cdnn main lecturer (grade II)/main lecturer certified by the competent authority, including:
+ Master's degree or higher suitable for job position, industry or teaching major;
+ Certificate of fostering CDNN standards of university lecturers/ Certificate of fostering CDNN standards of university lecturers or certificates of fostering according to CDNN standards of teaching officials in public higher education institutions as prescribed by law before 30/6/2022;
+ Have a certificate of pedagogical training (for college lecturers who do not graduate from pedagogical university or university of technical education);
+ Intermediate degree in political theory or higher (for teaching officials in training and retraining institutions).
- Decision on appointment of CDNN lecturers, code: V.07.01.03/lecturer CĐSP, code: V.07.08.22 and decision on appointment of equivalent titles (if any).
- Declaration of scientific research works, scientific articles and compilation of books for training certified by the head of the management unit accompanied by evidence
+ A copy of the decision or contract assigning science and technology tasks;
+ Minutes of acceptance or decision on recognition of results of science and technology tasks;
+ Copies of published scientific articles, books for training have been appraised and accepted according to regulations;
+ Certificate of purpose of using books for training of the head of the higher education institution or college.

It should be noted:
- Copies of diplomas, certificates, decisions and contracts must be authenticated or notarized in accordance with the provisions of law. For degrees issued by foreign educational institutions, they must be recognized by the Quality Management Department under the Ministry of Education and Training in accordance with current regulations.
- In case of being sent to study abroad under the scheme, the cooperation agreement of the Ministry of Education and Training may replace the copy of the diploma recognition by the copy of the decision sent to study by the Ministry of Education and Training.

Pursuant to Section 5.2 subsection 5, Section III of Official Dispatch 112/BGDDT-NGCBQLGD in 2023, the form and specifications of the application dossier of the main lecturer/lecturer are as follows:
- Candidates prepare 01 dossier to be printed, taken on A4 paper, covered, with table of contents and page numbering;
- The dossier is closed in one volume, composed of documents and arranged in order; Scientific articles and books for training are arranged according to each type of work and in chronological order.
- Candidates are fully responsible for the legality, accuracy of documents and photocopied documents. Upon request by the competent authority, the candidate is responsible for providing the original or original document for comparison.
- Scientific works of agencies, organizations or citizens related to the contents of state secrets and secrets in the field of defense and security must be protected in accordance with the provisions of law and comply with the regulations of the Minister of Public Security, the Minister of National Defense and competent state agencies.
Agencies and units that nominate officials for promotion to CDNN main lecturers/main college lecturers shall be responsible before law for the standards and conditions of officials sent to participate in the CDNN promotion exam; Keep and manage registration records of CDNN promotion examination officials in accordance with the provisions of law.
How is the exam for promotion to the professional title of the main lecturer/main college lecturer in Vietnam expected to be held?
Pursuant to Section IV of Official Dispatch 112/BGDDT-NGCBQLGD in 2023, it is stipulated as follows:
1. Estimated time for promotion exams
The CDNN faculty/faculty promotion exam is scheduled to be held in the second quarter of 2023.
2. Expected venue for promotion exams
2.1. For the promotion exam to CDNN senior lecturer (grade I)/senior lecturer (grade I): It is expected to be held in Hanoi.
2.2. For the promotion exam for CDNN main lecturer (grade II)/main lecturer (grade II): It is scheduled to be held in 2 regions of the North and South.
Accordingly, the examination for promotion to the professional title of lecturer is expected:
- Time: the promotion exam for professional titles of lecturers and lecturers of pedagogical colleges is scheduled to be held in Q2
- Location: CDNN promotion exam for main lecturer/main college lecturer: Scheduled to be held in 2 regions of North and South.
