1. What is the Quang Trung Software Complex chain?

- Quang Trung Software Complex chain is an association between Quang Trung Software City, information technology and software areas, and information technology centers to carry out production and business activities in the field of information technology.

- Quang Trung Software Complex chain complies with the direction, inspection, and professional guidance of the Ministry of Information and Communications.

2. Organizational structure of Quang Trung Software Complex chain in Vietnam

- The Chain Management Organization is established in the form of the Chain Management Council under the decision of the Minister of Information and Communications.

- The Chain Management Council (hereinafter referred to as the Council for short) is under the management of the organizational structure of the Ministry of Information and Communications; under the management and operation of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.

3. Quang Trung Software Complex chain Management Council in Vietnam

3.1. Composition of the Management Board of Quang Trung Software Complex chain in Vietnam

- The number of members of the Council is 04 members; The operation term of the Council ends when the pilot period of Quang Trung Software Complex chain expires according to Decision 333/QD-TTg dated March 3, 2016 of the Prime Minister.

Board members include:

+ Chairman of the Council: representatives of leaders of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City;

+ Standing member of the Council: representative of the leader of Quang Trung Software Park Development One Member Limited Liability Company;

+ Member of the Council: representatives of leaders of the Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City;

+ Member of the Council: representative of Software Technology Park, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (ITP).

- Council members work on a part-time basis. During the operation, the number of Council members can be adjusted and supplemented in accordance with the new member admission situation of the Chain.

- During operation,
The Chairman of the Council uses the seal of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City for documents signed by the President of the Council to administer the work according to the functions and tasks prescribed; in case the permanent member is authorized by the Chairman of the Board, use the seal of Quang Trung Software Park Development Company Limited to operate and handle the work.

3.2. Functions and duties of Quang Trung Software Complex chain Management Council in Vietnam

Quang Trung Software Complex chain Management Board has the following functions and tasks:

- Managing the Chain's activities in accordance with the law;

- Orienting the development strategy of the Chain; advising the Ministry of Information and Communications and the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City on chain construction and development;

- Proposing and reporting to the Ministry of Information and Communications for consideration, assessment, and submission to the Prime Minister for a decision on admission of Chain members;

- Organizing investment and trade promotion activities, promoting the image of the Chain at home and abroad
to attract investment resources into the Chain, to attract investment from domestic and foreign information technology enterprises, especially multinational corporations, to operate in the Chain;

- Promoting and raising the level of activities of member units; research and development, cooperation and sharing of brands, management and operating experience; and training support for chain members.
