1. Tasks of the Vietnamese Society of Automotive Engineers

- Gather, mobilize, unite, and encourage all members who directly operate in science and technology, technology, design, teaching, training, management, mechanical engineering, electronics, lubricating oil, automobile repair, and maintenance services... specialized in automotive mechanics at home and abroad who are enthusiastic, enthusiastic, responsible, and creative in scientific research to improve qualifications and bring talents and wisdom to contribute to building Vietnam's automobile industry for sustainable development.

- Regulate, coordinate, and assist members in professional activities; improve professional qualifications, professional ethics, foster knowledge, science, and technology; and develop new technologies in automobile mechanics, contributing to the modernization of Vietnam's automobile industry step by step for the sake of a rich people, a strong country, and a just, democratic, and civilized society.

- Perform the function of consulting, criticizing, assessing society, and participating in and coordinating with organizations, individuals, and competent state management agencies on research, building a scientific basis for the formulation of undertakings, policies, and laws as well as plans, topics, research projects, scientific and technical development, the transfer of scientific and technical advances, and advanced technologies in the field of mechanics and the automobile industry when required by law.

- Join with agencies, organizations, and individuals to carry out scientific and technological research topics and projects and apply those research results to the development of the automobile industry according to the regulations of the law.

- Organize academic activities, symposiums, seminars, trainings, visits, and surveys at home and abroad in order to improve knowledge, skills, and scientific and professional qualifications, contributing to promoting the effectiveness of member work and professional activities.

- Expand cooperation with domestic and foreign automotive science and technology organizations to exchange experiences, help each other in scientific and technical activities in the mechanical industry and automobile industry, and enhance the promotion of prestige and reputation and the image of the country and people of Vietnam with international friends.

2. Powers of Vietnamese Society of Automotive Engineers

- Propagate the purpose of the Association.

- Represent member associations, branches, and members in activities related to the Association's principles, purposes, and tasks.

- Organize or coordinate in organizing training courses, fostering skills, professional knowledge, science and technology, new technologies, policies, and laws of the State related to the mechanical and automobile industries for members in accordance with the functions and duties of the Association and to protect the legitimate and legitimate interests of members in accordance with the Charter of the Vietnamese Society of Automotive Engineers.

- Receive legal funding sources from organizations and individuals at home and abroad according to the provisions of law. To raise funds for the Association on the basis of membership fees and revenues from business and service activities as prescribed by law to cover operating expenses.

- Commend and propose competent state management agencies to reward individual members who have achieved many outstanding achievements in professional work and the development of the Association.

- Disciplinary action against individual members who violate the Association's Charter.
