The responsibilities and powers of the Chairman of the Central Inspection Committeein Vietnam, according to Article 4 of Working Regulation 10-QD/TW dated August 11, 2006, are as follows:

- Being responsible to the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat for all the working activities of the Central Inspection Committee. Regularly maintain the working relationship of the Central Inspection Committee with the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat.

- Presiding over the work and meetings of the Central Inspection Committee and the Standing Committee of the Committee; proposing contents, programs, and issues that need to be discussed and resolved in order to maintain discipline and discipline in the Party; and performing the tasks and powers of the Central Inspection Committee as stipulated in the Party Charter.

Joining with the Party committees directly under the Central Government to prepare personnel for the inspection committee, especially the head of the inspection committee at that level.

- Signing a number of documents on behalf of the Politburo and the Secretariat as authorized by the Politburo and the Secretariat. On behalf of the Central Inspection Committee, sign documents and submit them to the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat;

Decisions on disciplinary enforcement fall under the decision-making authority of the Central Inspection Committee; decisions related to the organizational apparatus and staff of the Central Inspection Committee and a number of other important documents. Inspect and urge committee members to properly perform their assigned tasks and powers.

- In the middle of the term and at the end of the term, report the work results to the Central Executive Committee.

2. Responsibilities and powers of members of the Central Inspection Committee in Vietnam

The responsibilities and powers of the members of the Central Inspection Committee in Vietnam, according to Article 3 of Working Regulation 10-QD/TW dated August 11, 2006, are as follows:

- Being assigned by the Central Inspection Committee to be in charge of one or several fields and areas; taking main responsibility before the Committee for the inspection, supervision, and enforcement of discipline within the Party within the scope of its responsibility in accordance with the provisions of the Party's Charter, the Working Regulations of the Central Committee for Inspection, and the Regulations on the working regime of the Central Inspection Committee.

- Participating in the formulation of directions, tasks, programs, and work plans of the Committee; directly organizing the implementation of tasks assigned by the Central Inspection Committee; participating in inspection teams established by the Politburo, the Secretariat, or the Central Commission for Inspection.

- Researching and proposing guidelines and measures on inspection, supervision, and discipline enforcement in the Party; proactively grasping the situation; detecting and proposing measures to solve important problems within the scope of their charge;

Monitor the observance of the Working Regulations of the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the Working Regulations of the Central Inspection Committee to report to the Central Inspection Committee.

- Being provided with information according to the general regulations of the Central Government; attending all meetings of the Central Inspection Committee; discussing, voting, and together with the Committee taking responsibility before the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat for such decisions.

- Members of the Central Inspection Committee who are not members of the Central Committee are allowed to attend meetings of the Central Committee, except for those meetings of the Central Committee that need to be held separately.

The Standing Committee of the Central Inspection Committee assigns members of the Central Inspection Committee to attend the meetings of the Politburo and the Secretariat to discuss the inspection and supervision of Party building work.
and other jobs related to inspection and supervision when invited.

- Maintaining contact with party committees, inspection committees, party organizations within the area of responsibility. Closely coordinating with other members of the Central Inspection Committee in performing the tasks assigned by the Committee.

Assisting the Committee in directing the development of programs and work plans, strengthening the organization, and commenting on and evaluating the staffs of units in the Central Inspection Committee's agency assigned to be in charge by the Committee. Actively contribute to building a clean and strong branch where they live.
