This is a notable provision in the Youth Law 2020 passed by the National Assembly on June 16, 2020, replacing the Youth Law 2005.
In Article 9 of the Youth Law 2020, it is stipulated: “ March every year is Youth Month. Youth Month is organized to promote the pioneering, volunteer, and creative spirit of youth to participate in activities for the community and society, and to mobilize organizations and individuals to invest in youth development.”
The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union takes the lead, in cooperation with relevant agencies, organizations, and individuals, to organize Youth Month activities. In addition, the Government of Vietnam and local administrations at all levels are responsible for creating favorable conditions and supporting the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union at the same level to organize Youth Month activities. The heads of agencies and organizations are responsible for creating favorable conditions and supporting the youth in participating in Youth Month activities.
