Vocational Training Policy for Individuals Who Have Completed Their Prison Sentences

According to Circular 44/2016/TT-BLDTBXH guiding vocational training and employment policies for individuals who have completed their prison sentences, individuals who have completed their prison sentences and participate in vocational training shall receive support as follows:

- Training at the intermediate and college levels:- Tuition fees are waived or reduced, and study costs are supported according to Decree 86/2015/ND-CP and guiding documents;- Boarding policy is granted according to the provisions of Decision 53/2015/QD-TTg dated October 20, 2015, and guiding documents;- Training at the elementary level and courses under 03 months: Training costs, meal allowances, and travel expenses are supported according to Decision 46/2015/QD-TTg dated September 28, 2015, and guiding documents;

If individuals who have completed their prison sentences are not subject to the above support policies, the Department of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs will coordinate with relevant agencies to submit their cases to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and decision on vocational training support policies for these individuals.

Circular 44/2016/TT-BLDTBXH is effective from February 12, 2017.
