The Ministry of Health has just issued Circular 18/2019/TT-BYT providing guidance on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in the production and trading of health protection foods.
In addition to complying with the food safety assurance conditions under Clause 1, Article 28 of Decree 15/2018/ND-CP, domestic health supplement manufacturing facilities must also adhere to GMP principles, such as:
- Having sufficient personnel with appropriate qualifications and practical experience suitable for the assigned position;- The factory and production equipment must be planned and designed appropriately for the production activities;- Hygiene must be implemented and maintained at a high level;- Having a documentation system with clear and accurate information;- Having an approved production process for each specific product;- …
