The content is specified in Circular 33/2022/TT-BGTVT amending Circular 39/2019/TT-BGTVT stipulating the responsibilities of vehicle owners, crew members, vehicle drivers, holding the position of crew members and minimum safe manning on inland waterway vessels promulgated by the Minister of Transport of Vietnam on 12/12/2022.
The contents are specified in Vietnam's Circular 33/2022/TT-BGTVT amending Circular 39/2019/TT-BGTVT stipulating the responsibilities of vehicle owners, crew members, vehicle drivers, holding the position of crew members and minimum safe manning on inland waterway vessels promulgated by the Minister of Transport on 12/12/2022.
According to Vietnam's Circular 33/2022/TT-BGTVT , the responsibilities of vehicle owners and organizations and individuals renting inland waterway vessels have the following new points:
- Make a list of seafarers according to the form specified in Appendix I issued together with Vietnam's Circular 39/2019/TT-BGTVT;
Make a journey log book and a machine log book for cargo vehicles with a gross tonnage of 250 tons or more or passenger vehicles with a capacity of 50 (fifty) passengers or more according to the form prescribed in Appendix II issued together with Vietnam's Circular 39/2019/TT-BGTVT.
Note: Appendix II of Circular 39/2019/TT-BGTVT is replaced by Appendix I of Circular 33/2022/TT-BGTVT.
- The following responsibility is no longer specified: Organize training to improve professional qualifications; organize rehearsals of emergency situations for seafarers and crew apprentices.
Vietnam's Circular 33/2022/TT-BGTVT takes effect on February 1, 2023.
