This is the notable content of Directive 21/CT-BYT of the Ministry of Health of Vietnam on strengthening measures to prevent and control the COVID-19 pandemic.
To be specific, in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic continuing to be extremely complex, in order to strengthen disease prevention in the upcoming period, the Minister of Health of Vietnam directs the preventive health units as follows:
- Strictly implement health quarantine at border gates, requiring all entrants to mandatory health declaration, strongly recommending the installation of the Bluezone application;
- Enhance surveillance, early detection of suspected cases in the community; promptly cordon off, isolate, and thoroughly handle outbreak clusters to prevent spread and resurgence in the community;
- Deploy testing plans according to the stages of the epidemic and priority groups;
- Enhance the capacity of rapid response teams to tackle the epidemic; organize drills and training on Covid-19 surveillance and prevention for healthcare staff in reporting, surveillance, sampling, preservation, transportation of samples, and testing;
