Conditions for Registration and Application for Doctoral Training in 2017

The Ministry of Education and Training promulgates Circular No. 08/2017/TT-BGDDT attached with the Regulation on admission and training at the doctoral level, effective from May 18, 2017.

Applicants for doctoral-level training must meet the following conditions:

- Hold a university degree with a grade of good or higher, or a master's degree;- Be the author of at least one article related to the intended research field published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal or specialized conference proceedings within a period of 03 years (36 months);- Vietnamese applicants must possess one of the diplomas or certificates of English or other foreign language proficiency;- Foreign applicants must have a minimum Vietnamese language proficiency of Level 4 according to the Vietnamese Language Proficiency Framework for foreigners or meet the foreign language requirements as specified by the training institution.- Meet the experience and seniority requirements as required by each specific field of application.

Circular 08/2017/TT-BGDDT replaces Circular 10/2009/TT-BGDDT and Circular 05/2012/TT-BGDDT.
