The Minister of Education and Training has just issued Circular 24/2019/TT-BGDDT promulgating the Regulations on training at intermediate and college levels for the group of teacher training disciplines.

Trainees in the teacher training program who follow the annual system shall be recognized as graduates when they satisfy the following conditions:

- Scores for each graduation exam subject, graduation thesis, or graduation project must be 5.0 (five) points or higher;- Not currently under any of the following circumstances: being disciplined from a suspension level or higher, or being prosecuted for criminal liability. In the case where the trainee has committed disciplinary violations or lawful infringements not to the extent of being prosecuted for criminal liability, the head of the Teacher Training Institution must conduct a disciplinary review before considering graduation recognition for that trainee.

Trainees who do not meet the graduation recognition conditions in terms of scores will be considered for retaking the graduation exam.

In case of being disciplined but not at the level of being expelled, the head of the Teacher Training Institution shall organize the consideration for graduation recognition.
