Circular 24/2017/TT-BYT stipulates the process for receiving, providing medical care, and recording and reporting for patients who are victims of domestic violence at medical examination and treatment facilities in Vietnam. This Circular takes effect from July 07, 2017, replacing Circular 16/2009/TT-BYT.
This is one of the contents amended in Circular 23/2014/TT-BVHTTDL which amends and supplements several articles of Circular 02/2010/TT-BVHTTDL detailing the procedures for the dissolution of domestic violence victim support facilities and counseling centers for domestic-violence prevention and control in Vietnam, issued on December 22, 2014.
Recently, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam issued Circular 23/2014/TT-BVHTTDL amending and supplementing certain provisions of Circular 02/2010/TT-BVHTTDL on the Procedures for registration of operation of domestic violence victim support facilities and counseling centers in Vietnam.
On December 30, 2011, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued Circular 24/2011/TT-BVHTTDL stipulating standards and conditions for commendation of individuals and collectives participating in the prevention and combat of domestic violence; subjects, conditions, and agencies responsible for compensating asset value damages to individuals directly participating in the prevention and control of domestic violence.
