This is the significant content stipulated in Circular 182/2016/TT-BTC which prescribes the levels of collection, collection policies, payment, management, and use of fees for visiting the historical site of the Independence Palace.
The exemption and reduction of sightseeing fees for the Independence Palace as prescribed in Circular 182/2016/TT-BTC are as follows:
- Exemption from sightseeing fees for groups of visitors who are delegates and guests of the Communist Party, State agencies; children under six years old; and persons with particularly severe disabilities under the provisions of Clause 1 Article 11 of Decree 28/2012/ND-CP.- 50% reduction in sightseeing fees for the Independence Palace for the following cases:
- Subjects entitled to preferential cultural enjoyment policies as stipulated in Article 2 of [Decision 170/2003/QD-TTg](https://lawnet.vn/vb/quyet-dinh-170-2003-qd-ttg-chinh-sach-uu-dai-huong-thu-van-hoa-c7f9.html). In cases where it is difficult to determine such subjects, a certification from the People's Committee of the commune, ward, or commune-level town where the subject resides is required.- Elderly people under [Decree 06/2011/ND-CP](https://lawnet.vn/vb/nghi-dinh-06-2011-nd-cp-huong-dan-luat-nguoi-cao-tuoi-1cb77.html).- Persons with severe disabilities under the provisions of Clause 2 Article 11 of [Decree 28/2012/ND-CP](https://lawnet.vn/vb/nghi-dinh-28-2012-nd-cp-huong-dan-luat-nguoi-khuyet-tat-21abe.html).
