Vietnam: Technical Skill Requirements for graduates of Metal Rolling and Drawing Technology (Level 4 of VQF)

According to the regulations on the minimum amount of knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve upon graduation at the intermediate and college levels in the metal rolling and drawing technology sector, promulgated together with Circular 46/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the minimum skills required upon graduating from the college level in the metal rolling and drawing technology sector in Vietnam are as follows:

- Develop production plans; participate in managing the production process as well as technical and technological activities related to the metal rolling and drawing production sector;

- Execute the design, fabrication, and assembly of machinery and equipment in the technology production line for metal rolling and drawing;

- Skillfully operate, exploit, and maintain technological equipment for metal rolling and drawing;

- Execute the design and improvement of the technology process to produce different types of metal rolling and drawing products;

- Develop the ability to research and improve equipment for the technology production line of metal rolling and drawing;

- Organize and manage the production process;

- Supervise, organize, manage production, and analyze economic-technical indicators;

- Utilize basic information technology as regulated; exploit, process, and apply information technology in professional work in the sector;

- Utilize basic foreign languages, achieving level 2/6 in the Vietnamese Foreign Language Competence Framework; apply foreign languages to professional work in the sector.
