Vietnam: Requirements for the software for aggregation of data on land transport infrastructure asset inventory

The Ministry of Finance of Vietnam issued Circular No. 158/2016/TT-BTC on October 25, 2016, which specifies the requirements for operation of the software for aggregation of data on land transport infrastructure asset inventory (referred to as the software).

According to Circular No. 158/2016/TT-BTC of the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam, the requirements for operation of the software for aggregation of data on land transport infrastructure asset inventory are specified as follows:

- Computer requirements and Internet access: The computer has to be installed with a Windows operating system and antivirus application with regularly updated security patches and virus definitions, respectively. It is installed with the TCVN 6909:2001 unicode font and connected to the Internet.

- Software administrator is provided an account by the Ministry of Finance and granted access rights as recommended in writing by the Ministry of Transport or relevant provincial Department of Finance.

- Software users are provided an account by the Ministry of Finance and granted access as recommended in writing by the Ministry of Transport or relevant provincial Department of Finance.

- If the software administrator or user changes, the Ministry of Transport and relevant provincial People’s Department shall be responsible for reporting promptly in writing to the Ministry of Finance for proper solutions.
