Vietnam: Notification and registration for participation in the selection for performing science and technology tasks (Illustrative image)

The notification and registration for participation in the selection for performing science and technology tasks in Vietnam are carried out as follows:

1. At least 30 days before the selection date, the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam will announce the list of ministerial-level science and technology tasks for selection on the Ministry's web portal, so that organizations and individuals can register to participate in the selection. The selection application shall follow the provisions of Article 9 of this Regulation.

2. All organizations and individuals meeting the conditions stipulated in Article 8 of this Regulation have the right to register for participation in the selection for performing science and technology tasks.

3. The application set must be sealed and clearly marked on the outside: the name of the science and technology task; the name and address of the organization or individual registering to host the science and technology task, and the list of documents included in the application.

4. Number of application sets: 01 original application (with seal and direct signature) presented and printed on A4 paper size, using Vietnamese fonts of the Unicode character set according to the Vietnam Standard TCVN 6909:2001, font size 14, and 01 electronic copy of the application recorded on an optical disc (in PDF format, without password protection).

5. Applications must be submitted on time under the selection notification, and the date of receipt shall be the date stamped by the post office (if sent by post) or the receipt stamp of the Ministry's Office (if sent directly). Before the application submission deadline, registered organizations and individuals have the right to withdraw the application, replace it with a new one, or supplement or amend the submitted application to the selection agency. All supplements and amendments must be submitted within the stipulated timeframe and shall be an integral part of the application.

6. The Ministry's Office collects and transfers all applications to the Department of Planning - General Affairs for opening.
