Circular 54/2018/TT-BLDTBXH of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam (MOLISA) prescribes the minimum volume of knowledge and the competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from intermediate and college levels in health and social services fields in Vietnam, issued on December 28, 2018.
Vietnam: Minimum Knowledge of graduates of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Equipment Technology (level 4 of VQF)
According to the regulations on the minimum required knowledge and the competencies that learners must achieve after graduating from the intermediate level, college level in the field of pharmaceutical production equipment technology issued together with Circular 54/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the minimum knowledge that learners must achieve after graduating from the college level in pharmaceutical production equipment technology in Vietnam is as follows:
- Describe the functions and duties of pharmaceutical production equipment: pharmaceutical grinding equipment, pharmaceutical sieving equipment, pharmaceutical drying equipment, pharmaceutical mixing equipment, granulating equipment, pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, pharmaceutical extraction equipment, tablet pressing equipment, film-coating and sugar-coating equipment, capsule filling equipment, blister packaging equipment, liquid pharmaceutical production equipment, packaging equipment, water systems for pharmaceutical production, and auxiliary equipment for pharmaceutical production;
- Explain the technical parameters of pharmaceutical production equipment;
- Describe the structural features of pharmaceutical production equipment;
- Explain the working principles of pharmaceutical production equipment;
- Present and explain the installation and calibration procedures of pharmaceutical production equipment;
- Develop and explain the operating procedures of pharmaceutical production equipment;
- Present concepts related to electricity and electronics such as electronic components, pulse technique, digital technique, circuit technique, electrical engineering, sensor technique, and automatic control technique;
- Present methods for managing pharmaceutical production equipment;
- Present regulations on safety and environmental hygiene in installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment;
- Present basic knowledge on politics, culture, society, law, national defense and security, and physical education as required.
