According to the regulation on the minimum knowledge volume and required competencies for graduates from intermediate and college levels in construction materials engineering issued together with Circular 46/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, construction materials engineering, Level 4 of VQF is a profession that involves the manufacturing of silicate materials products for the civil and industrial construction sectors, including main product lines such as bricks, tiles, fired clay, ceramic tiles, sanitary ware, construction glass, cement, concrete, meeting the requirements of level 4 in the Vietnam National Qualifications Framework.

Individuals working in construction materials engineering must possess the knowledge and skills to perform tasks such as "material processing, shaping, decorating, thermal processing, classification, packaging, and quality control of products."

The main tasks in the industry are: Monitoring raw materials, operating, and supervising the manufacturing process.

Graduates of construction materials engineering, Level 4 of VQF in Vietnam have numerous job opportunities in construction materials manufacturing enterprises, construction companies, specialized LAS and VILAS laboratories in construction materials, materials testing departments, agencies, and socio-political organizations related to the construction materials sector...

The required minimum knowledge volume is 1,500 hours (equivalent to 55 credits).
