This is a noteworthy content stipulated in Circular 95/2016/TT-BQP, guiding the implementation of certain Articles of Decree 27/2016/ND-CP, which regulates some policies for non-commissioned officers and soldiers serving in the military, demobilized soldiers, and relatives of non-commissioned officers and soldiers in active service.
According to the regulations in Circular 95/2016/TT-BQP, social insurance benefits for non-commissioned officers and soldiers are implemented as follows:
- The active service period of non-commissioned officers and soldiers is counted as the social insurance contribution period.- In cases where prior to enlistment, there were periods of work and mandatory social insurance contributions at state agencies, organizations, or economic establishments of various economic sectors, if discharged and returning to the local area, the previous working time with social insurance contributions will be combined with the active service period.- In cases where prior to enlistment, there were periods of work and mandatory social insurance contributions at state agencies, organizations, or economic establishments of various economic sectors, if discharged and then returning to the previous agency or other state agencies, organizations, or economic establishments of various economic sectors, and continuing to make social insurance contributions, the previous time will be combined with the active service period and the subsequent working time with social insurance contributions.
