Scope of Water Zones of the Offshore Oil Port at Bien Dong Field in Ba Ria-Vung Tau

Circular 57/2015/TT-BGTVT stipulates the scope of offshore oil and gas port waters in Bien Dong Oil Field under the jurisdiction of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province, which is bounded by a circle with a radius of 0.5 nautical miles, centered at the HT - MT location with the following coordinates: HT-MT: 08°03’06” N, 108°54’24” E.

Additionally, the Circular also stipulates the scope of offshore oil and gas port waters for several other oil fields under the jurisdiction of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province as follows:

- Scope of Offshore Oil and Gas Port Waters in Rong Doi - Rong Doi Tay Oil Field:

Bounded by a circle with a radius of 01 nautical mile, centered at the RD - RDT location with the following coordinates: RD-RDT: 07°48’36” N, 108°11’01” E.

- Scope of Offshore Oil and Gas Port Waters in Te Giac Trang Oil Field:

Bounded by a circle with a radius of 01 nautical mile, centered at the TGT location with the following coordinates: TGT: 09°58’25” N, 107°58’10” E.

- Scope of Offshore Oil and Gas Port Waters in Chim Sao Oil Field:

Bounded by a circle with a radius of 01 nautical mile, centered at the CS location with the following coordinates: CS: 07°20’43” N, 108°18’36” E.

- Scope of Offshore Oil and Gas Port Waters in Lan Tay Oil Field:

Bounded by a circle with a radius of 01 nautical mile, centered at the LT location with the following coordinates: LT: 07°34’45” N, 108°52’03” E.

The scope of the waters of the above-mentioned ports is determined on Marine Chart No. IA - 100 - 23 reissued in 2006 by the Vietnam People's Navy and other related marine charts. The coordinates of the points stipulated in this Circular are applied according to the VN - 2000 coordinate system and converted to corresponding coordinate systems as specified in the Appendix issued with this Circular.
