Revenue of credit institutions and branches of foreign banks in Vietnam

According to Decree No. 93/2017/NĐ-CP of Vietnam’s Government, revenues from the business of branches of foreign banks and credit institutions include:

- Interest income and similar income: deposit interest, loan interest, business interest, interest receivable from securities investment, income from guarantee operations, interest from finance lease, interest from debt trading, other income from credit activities;

- Income from service activities: income from payment services; income from treasury operations; income from entrustment and agent operations; income from other services;

- Incomes from trading foreign currency and gold: Income from foreign currency trading; income from foreign exchange differences; income from gold trading; income from currency derivatives;

- Income from securities trading activities (excluding stocks);

- Income from capital contribution, transfer of stake and shares;

- Incomes from other activities: income from the loans handled by risk reserve (including the debts that have been written off, now recovered); income from other derivative financial instruments; income from debt trading; income from transfer, liquidation of assets; income from reversal of provision for fall of long-term investment; income from other activities as prescribed by law;

Moreover, there are also other incomes as prescribed by law.
