The Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs promulgates Circular 12/2017/TT-BLDTBXH stipulating the minimum knowledge volume and competency requirements that learners must achieve upon graduation at the intermediate level and college level.
According to Circular 12, students at the intermediate level upon graduation must meet the following output standards:
Knowledge:
- Relatively broad practical and theoretical knowledge within the scope of their training field or profession;- Basic knowledge of politics, culture, society, and law to meet job requirements and social activities within the specialized field;- Knowledge of information technology to meet job requirements.
Skills:
- Cognitive skills and professional skills in performing tasks, solving problems by selecting and applying basic methods, tools, documents, and information;- Skills in using professional terminology of the training field or profession to communicate effectively in the workplace; critiquing and using alternative solutions; assessing the quality of work and performance results of team members;- Foreign language proficiency at level 1/6 of the Vietnamese Foreign Language Proficiency Framework.
Autonomy and Responsibility:
- Work independently in changing working conditions, taking personal responsibility and partial group responsibility;- Guide and supervise others to carry out predetermined tasks;- Assess group activities and performance results.
