This is one of the points to note in Circular 57/2015/TT-BYT detailing a number of articles of Decree 10/2015/ND-CP dated January 28, 2015 of the Government regulating in vitro fertilization and surrogacy for humanitarian purposes issued on December 30, 2015.
The individual directly performing in vitro fertilization techniques must meet the requirements stipulated in Circular 57/2015/TT-BYT, specifically, that individual must:
- Have diplomas, certificates, or acknowledgments of training in in vitro fertilization techniques (recognition of certificates and acknowledgments for individuals performing in vitro fertilization techniques if trained abroad at facilities meeting the standards and organizational training conditions equivalent to those in Vietnam).- Have confirmation of having directly performed at least 20 infertility treatment cycles using in vitro fertilization techniques.- Have a practice certificate as stipulated by the Medical Examination Law.
