Regimen for Dengue Fever Patients Under Medical Isolation

Medical examination and treatment costs:

- Exempt from medical examination and treatment costs according to current regulations on medical service prices for public health facilities;- If the person under medical isolation measures contracts other illnesses that require medical examination and treatment during the isolation period, they must pay the examination and treatment costs for those illnesses according to legal regulations on medical service prices.

If that person holds a health insurance card, the payment of medical examination and treatment costs is carried out in accordance with the law on health insurance.

Food and living expenses:

- The person under medical isolation measures is provided meals by the medical isolation facility upon request, suitable with the capacity of the medical isolation facility, and the meal costs are self-paid by the person under medical isolation measures.

In case the person under medical isolation belongs to a poor household, they are supported with a meal allowance of 40,000 VND/day.- Free provision of daily living items during the medical isolation period such as:- Drinking water, face towel, mask, hand sanitizer, mouthwash, toothbrush, bathing soap;- Other essential items for daily living needs.

Other costs:

- Exempt from transportation costs:- From home or from the place where the subject is identified to be isolated to the medical isolation facility; or- From one medical isolation facility to another as decided by the competent authority;- Ensured convenient, safe, and comfortable transportation.- In case the person under medical isolation measures passes away, they are exempt from preservation, embalming, funeral, and transportation costs for the body or ashes.
