Decree 83/2017/ND-CP stipulating the work of rescue and salvage of the fire prevention and fighting force was just issued by the Government of Vietnam and has been in effect since October 4, 2017.

Individuals mobilized for rescue and relief duties shall be entitled to the following policies during the mobilization period: Individuals not receiving salaries from the state budget shall be provided with daily wages, food and accommodation arrangements, transportation cost support; meal allowances as stipulated in points a and b of Article 19 Decree 30/2017/ND-CP;

Individuals receiving salaries from the state budget shall be paid their full salaries and allowances, travel allowances, transportation costs, hazardous work environment allowances, and regional allowances according to current policies. Officers and soldiers of the People’s Public Security Forces are also entitled to policies as stipulated in points a and b of Article 19 of Decree 30/2017/ND-CP.

Decision 44/2012/QD-TTg shall be invalidated from the effective date of Decree 83/2017/ND-CP.
