The Minister of the Ministry of Planning and Investment has just issued Circular 10/2019/TT-BKHDT stipulating the National Gender Development Statistical Indicators.
Currently, the national gender development statistical indicator set is a collection of various indicators that reflect the important characteristics, nature, and main relationships of gender development in Vietnam; it serves as a basis for monitoring and evaluating the situation of gender development, the progress of women, and gender equality across various fields of socio-economic life; it meets the statistical information needs on gender of agencies, organizations, and individuals.

Specifically, Circular 10/2019/TT-BKHDT regulates the national gender development statistical indicator set, which includes:
- The list of national gender development statistical indicators as stipulated in Appendix I.- The content of national gender development statistical indicators as stipulated in Appendix II.
The Ministry of Planning and Investment (General Statistics Office) shall preside over and cooperate with relevant agencies to collect and compile statistical information on the assigned national gender development statistical indicators, ensuring the provision of full, accurate, and prompt statistical data and meeting international comparison requirements; develop and perfect forms of information collection on the assigned national gender development statistical indicators; ...
Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, agencies under the Government of Vietnam, the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuracy, and related agencies, within the scope of their functions and powers, shall integrate, collect, and compile the assigned indicators, providing them to the Ministry of Planning and Investment (General Statistics Office) for aggregation, compilation, and publication.
