Circular 16/2015/TT-BGDDT guides the process for assessing student training results in the following order:

Step 1: Students, based on their own training results, self-assess according to the detailed score levels stipulated by their university.

Step 2: A class meeting, including the participation of the homeroom teacher/advisor, is conducted to review and approve each student's self-assessment score based on the provided evidence of results. Approval requires more than half of the class unit's members' agreement and must be documented in a meeting record.

The homeroom teacher/advisor certifies the class meeting results and forwards the results to the Department-level Student Training Results Assessment Council (hereinafter referred to as the Department Council).

Step 3: The Department Council convenes to review, reach a consensus, report to the Head of Department, and submit the results to the University-level Student Training Results Assessment Council (hereinafter referred to as the University Council).

Step 4: The University Council convenes to review, reach a consensus, and recommends to the Principal for consideration and decision on the recognition of the results.

Step 5: The assessment results and classification of student training must be publicly announced and notified to students at least 20 days before the official decision is issued.

The training results are classified according to the following score benchmarks:

- From 90 to 100 points: Excellent;- From 80 to below 90 points: Good;- From 65 to below 80 points: Fair;- From 50 to below 65 points: Average;- From 35 to below 50 points: Weak;- Below 35 points: Poor.

Details can be found at Circular 16/2015/TT-BGDDT, effective from September 28, 2015.
