Multiple Incentives for the Organic Agriculture Sector

The State has introduced numerous policies to encourage the development of organic agriculture. Notably, priority is given to applying the promulgated policies for the development of organic agriculture, specifically:

- Prioritizing scientific funding and agricultural extension to implement research projects and agricultural extension projects, especially in the areas of pest-resistant varieties, organic fertilizers, biological plant protection products, and herbal veterinary medicine;- Policies to encourage investment in facilities that produce and trade organic products or provide input materials for organic production, such as:- Policies to support small and medium enterprises; policies to encourage enterprises to invest in agriculture and rural areas;- Policies to support agricultural cooperatives; policies to link production with product consumption and the construction of large fields; policies for vocational training for rural labor;- Credit policies for the development of agriculture and rural areas; loan policies to encourage the development of high-tech and clean agriculture;- Special policies on varieties, capital, and technology in the cultivation and exploitation of medicinal plants;- Policies to support trade promotion and brand building;- Policies to support attaching the Vietnam Green Label and support environmentally friendly facilities;- Other related policies;

It should be noted that at the same time and for the same objective, an establishment may only choose one most suitable policy.

Decree 109/2018/ND-CP comes into effect on October 15, 2018.
