Jurisdiction of the Chief, Deputy Chiefs of the Department of Military Enforcement

On January 05, 2018, the Ministry of National Defense issued Circular 01/2018/TT-BQP promulgating the Regulations of the Military Execution Sector.

responsibilities and scope of work resolution of the Director, Deputy Director of the Military Execution Department are specified in Circular 01 as follows:

1. Director

- Responsibilities: Responsible before the law, the Central Military Commission, and the Minister of National Defense for assisting the Minister of National Defense in cooperating with the Minister of Justice to manage the state management of execution activities and performing specialized management of civil execution in the military according to the law.- Scope of work resolution:- Matters within the functions, duties, and powers of the Execution Department as prescribed by law and the Ministry of National Defense; tasks assigned or authorized by the Minister of National Defense; reporting to the Minister on matters beyond authority;- Assign specific tasks, direct, operate, and inspect activities among the Deputy Directors, departments, and units under the Execution Department; conclude the resolution of matters within authority;- Guide, direct, and inspect the Military Zone Execution Department in implementing procedures and applying the provisions of law in cooperation with relevant agencies and units in civil execution activities.

2. Deputy Director

- Responsibilities: Responsible before the law and the Director for the tasks assigned, managed, or authorized.- Scope of work resolution:- Direct, operate, inspect, urge, and resolve tasks according to the assignment or authorization of the Director and report the implementation results to the Director;- Proactively cooperate with other Deputy Directors to resolve related tasks; report to the Director to decide on issues, tasks that are difficult, problematic, or beyond authority;- Sign on behalf of the Director the documents under the Director's authority within the scope of tasks assigned or authorized by the Director.
