Circular 12/2017/TT-BKHCN has been issued by the Ministry of Science and Technology to amend and supplement Circular 26/2012/TT-BKHCN on the state inspection of the quality of goods circulated in the market. The document has taken effect from January 01, 2018.

According to Circular 12, the procedure for inspecting the quality of goods by the inspection team is carried out as follows:

The inspection record must be signed by the representative of the inspected entity and the inspection team.- In case the inspection team takes samples, a sampling record must be prepared, requesting the inspected entity to provide invoices and documents related to the sampled goods and determining the quantity of goods at the time of sampling;- Report the inspection results to the inspection authority; handle, propose handling of the inspection results.
