How is Land Price in Border Areas Handled?

Circular 36/2014/TT-BTNMT stipulating land prices in bordering areas is handled as follows:

- The Provincial People's Committee shall base on the provisions of Clause 1, Article 13 of Decree 44/2014/ND-CP to stipulate the bordering areas between provinces and centrally-run cities.- The Provincial People's Committee is responsible for sending the draft of the local land price table to the Provincial People's Committee with adjacent land for comments; publishing the draft of the land price table continuously on the Provincial People's Committee's Portal, and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment. Within no more than 15 days from the date of receipt of the draft land price table, the Provincial People's Committee with adjacent land must provide a written response.- In case of price differences in the bordering areas in the draft land price table exceeding the stipulated levels in Clause 2, Article 13 of Decree 44/2014/ND-CP, the Provincial People's Committees with adjacent land must reach a consensus on the proposed land price to be issued in the bordering areas.- If no consensus is reached, the matter must be reported to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment before September 15 of the year the land price table is constructed for resolution. If the Provincial People's Committee and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment cannot reach a consensus on the land price in the bordering area, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment shall report to the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam for consideration and decision.
