Decree 29/2015/ND-CP stipulates the duties and powers of the Notary Association, including:
- Representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of members in their professional practice according to the Charter of the National Occupational - Professional Organization of Notaries and in accordance with the law.- Admitting and expelling members; rewarding and disciplining members; resolving complaints and denunciations in accordance with the Charter of the National Occupational - Professional Organization of Notaries.- Supervising members' compliance with the legal regulations on notary, the Code of Ethics for Notary Practice, and the Charter of the National Occupational - Professional Organization of Notaries.- Coordinating with local Departments of Justice in annually training professional skills for members; providing opinions to the Departments of Justice on the appointment, dismissal of notaries, establishment, merger, consolidation, transfer, and termination of the operation of notarial practice organizations in accordance with the Law on Notary, this Decree, and other related legal documents.- Implementing resolutions, decisions, and regulations of the National Occupational - Professional Organization of Notaries and competent state management agencies.- Complying with the inspection and examination by state management agencies and the inspection by the National Occupational - Professional Organization of Notaries.- Participating in domestic and international cooperation activities regarding notary in accordance with the law.- Other duties and powers as stipulated by the law and the Charter of the National Occupational - Professional Organization of Notaries.
