Guidelines for Designing Remote Sensing Control Points Measurement

Circular 08/2017/TT-BTNMT has been promulgated by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, stipulating the procedure for remote sensing image control measurement.

Translate the following Vietnamese text into English in the style of a legal document:

The design of remote sensing control point measurement may vary depending on the measurement method as guided by Circular 08 as follows:

Measurement using GNSS technology:

- Before conducting measurements, it is necessary to schedule the measurements and prepare a forecast table of observable satellites;- Based on the number of receivers, the designed GNSS measurement network configuration, and the satellite forecast table, construct the measurement schedule table with the following contents: Measurement time, measurement station data, station name, receiver data, etc.

Measurement by traverse method using an electronic total station or electronic theodolite:

- When measuring remote sensing control points using the traverse method, depending on the density of initial points, the design may be in the form of simple traverses or networks depending on terrain conditions;- Parameters must be stated in the technical design—estimates or construction plans must comply with the regulations in Table 2, Article 10 of Circular 08.

More details can be found in Circular 08/2017/TT-BTNMT effective from July 24, 2017.
