Guidelines for Accident and Incident Prevention for Houses, Buildings, Vehicles, and Equipment

To be specific, according to the provisions of Article 5 of Circular 08/2018/TT-BCA, the guidelines for preventing incidents and accidents for houses, buildings, vehicles, and equipment are regulated as follows:

- The civil defense force, the grassroots fire prevention and fighting force, and the specialized fire prevention and fighting force, based on their functions, tasks, requirements of rescue work, and the nature and characteristics of the area, shall propose to the heads of agencies, organizations, establishments, and local authorities to issue regulations, and an evacuation diagram, specifically:

- Regulations on rescue work include: Prohibited actions; actions to take in case of an incident or accident; the preservation and use of rescue equipment, means, and tools.- The evacuation diagram includes the internal road system, escape routes, escape directions, and shelters when necessary.

- Signs and instructions for the rescue work include: Signs for areas or positions prone to incidents or accidents; signs for rescue; signs for areas designated for rescue operations exclusively for rescue workers.

The Department of Fire Prevention, Fighting, and Rescue shall provide guidelines on the format of signs and instructions for rescue work.

- Regulations, diagrams, signs, and instructions for rescue work must be disseminated and posted in visible places for everyone to know and comply with.
