Circular 16/2015/TT-BGDDT guides the classification and evaluation of training for full-time university students as follows:
- During the period a student is disciplined with a reprimand, their training results cannot exceed the "good" category.
- During the period a student is disciplined with a warning, their training results cannot exceed the "average" category.
- Students suspended from study are not evaluated for training during the suspension period.- Students expelled are not evaluated for their training results.
- Students who complete the program and graduate later than the prescribed course duration will continue to be evaluated for their training results during the additional completion period, depending on the reason for their extended duration, determining the evaluation level for the supplementary period.
- Students with disabilities, those orphaned from both parents or either parent, and students from particularly difficult family backgrounds as verified by local authorities, who are unable to participate in or meet general training activities, are given priority, support, encouragement, and may receive additional points for their training evaluation based on their effort and progress particular to their situation.
- Students who take a temporary leave from school and have their training results preserved will have their training evaluated upon returning to study according to regulations.- Students enrolled in two programs simultaneously will be evaluated for training at the first program's managing unit, and feedback from the second program's managing unit will serve as a base for additional evaluation. If the first program is completed, the second program's managing unit will continue to evaluate the student's training results
- Students who transfer schools with the consent of the heads from both institutions will have their training results from the former institution preserved and will continue to be evaluated for subsequent semesters at the new institution.
