Facilities for teaching and learning in the Sugar and Confectionery Production Technology at the Intermediate Level (Illustrative image)
To be specific, Circular 17/2013/TT-BGDDT stipulates the conditions for facilities serving teaching and learning in the Sugar and Confectionery Production Technology at the Intermediate Level. To ensure the quality of training, when implementing the training program for Sugar and Confectionery Production Technology, besides general facilities and equipment, the training institution must prepare the following practical and training locations:
- Analytical Chemistry Laboratory- Physical Chemistry Laboratory- Industrial Chemistry Laboratory- Biochemistry Laboratory- Microbiology Laboratory- Confectionery Practice Room- Product Quality Control Room- Practical and training rooms for sugar production and contracts for practical training with sugar production enterprises and facilities
Moreover, to implement the training program effectively and with high quality, the training institution must have a sufficient number of qualified teachers.
- The teaching staff must meet the standards stipulated by the Education Law and the current Charter for Intermediate Vocational Schools.- The number of teachers must ensure that the student/teacher ratio is appropriate according to regulations, with the core teaching staff covering at least 70% of the training program's workload.- Additionally, teachers involved in teaching and guiding practice must have proficiency in informatics, foreign languages, and practical experience in food technology, sugar production technology, and confectionery to support and serve teaching and research.
